A call rang in for a Notary Public and we answered. A local couple needed signatures and witnessing of Power of Attorney (POA) document notarized.
In this case, with one party going out-of-town the POA would allow the other party to conduct business on the absent parties behalf without them being present.
The notarization took place in Easley SC on June 23, 2016.
Notary for Last Will & Testament
Since the passing of music legend Prince, I think many people feel the pressure to have a Last Will and Testament drafted. Commonly, it’s not something most people tend to think about until it’s to late. Most just feel as though they have nothing of value to leave behind. But the truth is, we all leave something or someone behind and we need to make sure they are handle with care and with as less hassle as possible. Which is what the clients that called upon us for our services had in mind.
Without divulging the intimate details of their services, I will say that they felt the need to avoid the any hiccups if or when anything should happen to them.
We completed the notarization and witnessing of Last Will and Testament documents for a couple on Wednesday, May 4, 2016. A Deed In Lieu of Foreclosure signing was conducted in Mauldin, South Carolina for a local resident. Our service is around for those signers that have a preference in document signing locations. Notary for Duke Energy Identity Verification Form
In the afternoon hours of Tuesday, February 9, 2016, a local resident called Upstate Mobile Notaries, LLC to have a Duke Energy Identity Verification Form signed and notarized. The local Greenville, South Carolina resident called into our lines racing to get paperwork signed, notarized and faxed over to Duke Energy for electric service to be transferred.
The form had already been signed and notarized by another notary, whom had affixed a embosser seal to the documents. However, this was unacceptable due to the document having to be faxed. Some are not aware that an embosser seal is hardly recognizable through fax. But we here at Upstate Mobile Notaries, LLC pride ourselves in having equipment to meet all notary needs. And so the documents were reprinted, signed, notarized and faxed.

A rescheduled refinance loan document oversight was conduct on the morning of January 19, 2016. As there was some miscommunication in the scheduling of this appointment which was to take place the day before. But luckily, Upstate Mobile Notaries, LLC as well as the borrower had flexibility in getting it done. This document signing was for a property located in Georgia, which as you all may or may not know requires the assistance of an attorney. Because GA like SC is an attorney state and therefore, and attorney must be present during such. The attorney was present via telephone and represented their client well.

In the early morning of December 31, 2015, a local Greenville resident called in to Upstate Mobile Notaries, LLC to have a affidavit notarized. The document was for employment insurance purposes and consisted of two signers.
