A Slater resident called on our services to have an Affidavit of Residency notarized on behalf of her son and daughter to be able to attend a school in Greenville County.

South Carolina Vehicle Title Transfer to North Carolina

On the evening of Sunday, August 14, 2016, our services were called upon in which we witnessed the signatures for a South Carolina resident on the transfer of title of her vehicle to another party, a resident of North Carolina.

In most cases, a notary isn’t needed for such transactions. However, in some states, the notary’s sworn statement is written on the title transfer section to be completed with stamp/seal. When the title is void of this language, such with this case it is necessary to attach an Individual Acknowledgment. An individual Acknowledgment is a notarial form that verifies that a person or persons appeared before the notary or acknowledges that they did indeed sign said document.

This vehicle title transaction took place in Mauldin, SC.

Officiant for Private Impromptu Ceremony

A call rang in the early morning of Friday, August 12, 2016, from a couple needing an officiant for a last-minute wedding ceremony. Within a few hours, the lovely couple were officially married and couldn’t be happier. Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Donald Ackerman.

This private impromptu ceremony was conducted at the Fred W. Symmes Chapel in Cleveland, SC with a beautiful overlook of the Upstate Mountains of North and South Carolina.

Capital Title Insurance Agency contacted Upstate Mobile Notaries, LLC to assist a Sunset, SC couple with the purchase of a property in Michigan. Even as documents continued to come in via e-docs during the signing, we printed, signed and notarized and never missed a beat.
