On August 17, 2017, two signatures were notarized and witnessed on Deed in Lieu of Foreclosure documents in Simpsonville.
On the evening of Sunday, August 14, 2016, our services were called upon in which we witnessed the signatures for a South Carolina resident on the transfer of title of her vehicle to another party, a resident of North Carolina.
In most cases, a notary isn’t needed for such transactions. However, in some states, the notary’s sworn statement is written on the title transfer section to be completed with stamp/seal. When the title is void of this language, such with this case it is necessary to attach an Individual Acknowledgment. An individual Acknowledgment is a notarial form that verifies that a person or persons appeared before the notary or acknowledges that they did indeed sign said document.

A local resident seeking a notary for a document within their divorce paperwork started their search which lead to an early morning call to us on Monday, March 14, 2016. Within a South Carolina Divorce and Separation Agreement, there are forms that need to be notarized by a notary public.
