Vehicle Title Transfer

There are extra requirements for North Carolina residents who enter into South Carolina to purchase vehicles to take back to their home state. In North Carolina, it is a requirement to show the notarized signature of the Seller within the transaction.

If you have any questions as to whether your state requires anything more on top of a Bill of Sale or Certificate of Title Transfer documentation, contact your local Department of Motor Vehicles.
